I had a dream that, in the 1970s, there was a movement amongst poor inner-city organizations. They wanted to build sculptures in poor urban areas. “Artificial suns, to shine a light of hope, 24 hours a day”. They were reflective spheres. Kinda like giant disco balls.

Well, the movement kinda petered out, and nobody managed to get enough funding to build one.

Years later, somebody unconnected to the original movement built something similar. Something adapted from the design of the movement. The big ball at the Epcot Center.
